Job Description:The Procurement Specialist is responsible for identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing the procurement process to ensure quality and cost-efficient acquisition of goods or services. This role involves supplier relationship management, market analysis, strategic sourcing, and maintaining compliance, contributing to effective supply chain operations and organizational objectives.

Job Responsibilities:● Assess, manage, and mitigate risk, and monitor, and forecast upcoming demands● Sourcing and selection of suppliers, review suppliers for compliance with company’s quality criteria, monitoring production and ensuring timely delivery● Propose products meeting the company’s direction, product concept and standard of quality ● Issue purchase orders, monitor and manage purchase orders through their full lifecycle● Strategic sourcing and pricing strategy are required to maximize company profits and adhere to standard operating procedures and policies● Assist in development of best practices in supplier management● Plan, monitor and coordinate with various departments to complete the project within the timeline● Play an active role in resolving critical quality and delivery issues with suppliers● Managing suppliers performance in ensuring cost competitiveness, best quality consistency and service reliability● Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and premium quality to increase departmental savings● Search for ways to enhance cost-effectiveness● Review and evaluate suppliers to ensure competencies and capabilities● Build and maintain a good relationship with our existing supplier● Generate reports and statistics based on past records● Compile KPIs, conclude and generate report to be present in the meetings● Perform all other position related duties assigned by

Job Requirements:● Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field● Minimum 3 Year(s) of related working experience and preferably with experience in a foreign company● Good communication in English is compulsory● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure● A thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies● Strong negotiation skills● Computer literate
