Senior Automation QA Engineer (NRS team)

The technology division is a small, high-powered development group with teams situated in the US, Israel, and Minsk that produces interactive, high-performance web applications that are both good-looking and easy to use.

As an Experienced Automation QA Engineer at National Retail Solutions you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining automation framework. You will collaborate closely with the development and QA teams in designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure that all features are working properly and ensure that our products meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, maintain and improve JS Automation Frameworks for Web and Mobile.
• Develop and execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and report defects to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to resolve identified issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests into the software development lifecycle to support continuous integration and deployment.et up and maintain CI/CD.
• Participation in project meetings, providing testing metrics/status and notifying management of critical failures and milestones.
• Collaborate with the software engineering team to ensure software and system interdependencies are stable.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on test automation best practices, tools, and techniques.
  
  Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer.
• Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Development experience in utilizing one or more of the following tools for test automation: Appium, Selenium, JavaScript, WebDriver.io, Cypress, TestRail or Mocha to automate the execution of test cases.
• Proficiency in mobile/web application testing.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Experience in testing APIs using tools like Postman or knowledge of API testing methodologies to ensure functionality and data integrity.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written) is essential.
  
  Nice To Have:
• Knowledge of testing fundamentals and best practices of different types of testing: functional, edge/boundary, negative/failure, regression, performance.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex systems, identify issues, and provide solutions or recommendations to improve software quality.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale, e-commerce order management and order processing systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker concepts and technology is a plus.
