Data Scientist

Now we are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team!

Your Responsibilities at Aristek Systems:

• Participation in the development of various projects of the company;
• Employing analytical techniques to deconstruct and interpret complex data sets;
• Delivering clear, actionable insights from voluminous and diverse data sources;
• Developing intuitive and compelling data visualizations and interactive dashboards that resonate with both specialist and non-specialist audiences;
• Partnering with stakeholders across the business to understand operational challenges and deliver data-centric solutions that align with company objectives;
• Proactively exploring and assimilating new data sources, staying ahead of market trends to fuel innovation and improvement;
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of methodologies, data lineage, model development, and analytical findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility;
• Collaborating with client stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements;
• Consulting and mentoring of junior developers on emerging issues.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years experience as a Data Scientist;
• Great Python coding skills;
• Hands-on experience with data analysis: probability theory and statistics, table data analysis experience; experience with statistical libs like scipy, statsmodels;
• Great understanding and proven experience with machine learning (both supervised and unsupervised) classical models and neural networks and experience with popular frameworks (sklearn, LightGBM, xgboost, keras, pytorch, tensorflow.);
• Ability to create API for a developed solution (FastAPI, Flask, django rest framework, tensorflow-serving, pytorch-serving, Docker, etc.);
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools and libs (matplotlib, seaborn, plotly, altair, possibly jupyter notebooks, streamlit, tensorboard, etc.);
• Experience with ML services provided by at least one hyperscaler (AWS ,Azure, GCP);
  Understanding of DataOps and MLOps;
• Experience working according to Agile practices;
• Superior communication skills.

Will be a plus:

• Pre-sale experience;
• Experience as a team lead;
• Experience with Generative AI (LLM, cloud services, LangChain);
• DataOps, MLOps experience;
• Knowledge of Atlassian products Jira, Confluence.
