Data Engineer

We seek a Data Engineer with expertise in creating analytical or operational data solutions, especially in data streaming scenarios. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Skills and Technologies:

• Proven 2+ years experience as a Data Engineer with cloud/self-hosted solutions.

• Strong SQL skills, including both SQL and No-SQL.

• Experience in the development of ETL/ELT processes.

• Software engineering experience, including API and Python proficiency.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and associated data services.

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and modeling.

Language Proficiency:

• English proficiency at a B1 level.

Nice to Have:

• Proactive, self-driven, and result-oriented personality with strong analytical skills.

• Previous experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.

• Experience with workload and solution migration.

• Expertise in designing and developing scalable big data solutions.

• Familiarity with Docker.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Data Acquisition and Integration: Develop processes for data acquisition and integration from various sources into storage and processing systems.

• Infrastructure Management: Configure and oversee essential infrastructure for data storage, processing, and analysis.

• Performance Optimization: Improve data storage and processing systems efficiency.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the Development, Product and Analytics Department to guide data architecture and achieve business goals.

• Alignment with Business Requirements: Understand business requirements for data flows to align development with data architecture and design principles.
