Lead Software Engineer (.NET)

Our client is a company that provides care, management, and support for industrial water systems. They have built several apps to advance their services. The apps help our client and their customers prolong the life of equipment, reduce health and safety risks, and minimize costs. Our client is the most successful company on the market for water treatment services.

Syberry’s job is to stabilize the client’s apps and add new features.

Stack: .NET 5, .NET Core 3.1, Entity Framework 5.0.6, Xamarin.Forms, SQLite, Aurelia UI, JS/jQuery, Typescript 2.8.4

Team on our side: 1 BA, 1 PM, 1 QA engineer, 1 Tech Lead, and 3 developers.

Team on the client’s side: 1 system consultant, 1 developer.

What a Lead Software Engineer will do:

• Design the app’s architecture; create the systems’ design
• Organize and coordinate the team
• Create high-quality code according to Syberry’s standards
• Communicate with the client and the team daily
• Complete related tasks: participate in team meetings, estimate features, analyze the system’s security

What we expect from a Lead Software Engineer:

• 3+ years of experience developing web apps on C# or .NET
• Knowledge of C#, .NET, and .NET Core; understanding the syntax and mechanisms of the language, understanding the principles of frameworks, experience in using frameworks
• Experience designing systems or their components; experience writing technical documentation
• Knowledge of and experience using relational and non-relational databases; experience writing requests to databases
• Experience using Azure cloud services
• Understanding JavaScript concepts; experience utilizing them
• Experience of team leading
• At least Upper-Intermediate level of English; ability to communicate with native English speakers

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of and experience with Xamarin
• Expertise managing Windows Server, Active Directory, and SQL Server software
• Experience with fundamental algorithms: stack, queue, hash table, and binary tree
