Experienced Fullstack JavaScript Engineer

About Client:

Research Laundry is a web application that borrowers can use to request loans, receive offers, submit documentation, sign loan agreements and complete the lending process. This lending process leverages next-gen artificial intelligence to more accurately underwrite borrowers than competitors and, in addition to the initial lending platform being developed for borrowers, Client intends to eventually sell this AI-powered capability as a standalone system to other lenders.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

• Back-end and front-end development using common languages and frameworks;
• Working on product implementations and interacting directly with clients;
• Conducting regular code deployments across multiple environments, with no/low downtime;
• Data manipulation and orchestration;Integrating external data sources and best-in-class 3rd-party technologies;

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

• Proficient in JavaScript, with experience in frontend and backend development;
• Strong experience with React Native for mobile development and familiarity with mono repo architecture being a plus (React + React Native);
• Experience in building backend services using Node.js and Express.js;
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web service integration;Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token;
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment processes;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform in a team environment.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks like Nextjs or Vue.js;
• Knowledge of additional backend technologies (Python, Ruby, PHP);
• Familiarity with database technologies (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL);
• Able to use JIRA or willing to use a ticketing system.
