C/C++ Software Developer

BLD Soft is looking for C/C++ Software Developer to work in the office on own line of products for IPTV/OTT .

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience (1-3 years) in C++ software development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience in developing encoding and streaming solutions is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Familiarity with multimedia technologies and protocols (e.g., H.264, MPEG-TS, HLS, UDP, etc.) is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry developments.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), containerized applications (e.g. Docker) and collaborative development tools.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including unit testing and code documentation.

Developer responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and maintain C++ software solutions for encoding and streaming applications.
• Work on optimizing and enhancing existing codebase for improved performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to encoding and streaming technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, designers and support, to ensure successful product delivery and customer satisfaction.
