Information Security Officer

The Information Security Officer (ISO) is crucial for protecting the company's information and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. We are looking for someone skilled and experienced in information security to join our team.

What you will do:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's information security program, including policies, procedures, and standards, in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, assess, and manage information security risks, including conducting regular security risk assessments and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Oversee the organization's incident response process, including investigating security incidents, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, and ensuring timely remediation.
• Conduct security awareness training and education programs for employees and contractors to foster a culture of security awareness and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal senior management, business unit leaders, and IT teams, to align security initiatives with the organization's overall business objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's security controls and make recommendations for improvements.
• Organize and conduct security audits regularly, in accordance with security policies, and on demand basis.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends to ensure continuous protection of information assets.
• Manage and oversee the organization's security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software, to ensure optimal protection.
• Work closely with vendors and external partners to ensure compliance with security requirements and establish secure relationships.

What you should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in information security, with a demonstrated track record of success in developing and implementing security programs.
• Strong knowledge of information security frameworks, best practices, and industry standards, such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve security issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve organizational security goals.
• English at Upper-Intermediate level.

Would be a plus:

• Hold a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge of GDPR principles and regulations.
