Senior Data Science Engineer

TouchSoft is hiring. We are a worldwide software service provider and currently looking for a Senior Data Science Engineer who can build a mathematical/financial simulator.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;

- Emphasis on Databricks and Jupyter Notebooks;

- Experience with Python, Pyspark and machine learning applications;

- ML: Churn Analytics, Price Elasticity, Demand Forecasting;

- XGBoost Regression /Classification is must (Extreme Gradient Boosting);

- SHAP, Shapley;

- Experience with demand forecasting models;

- Experience building mathematical/financial simulators: example: the simulator is a data-driven scenario modeling tool used to project market size changes (e.g., from $5B to $9B in six years) based on a variety of input variables.

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate data to discover trends and patterns to improve and automate analysis;

- Migrate and import data from a variety of sources into a central database;

- Independently mine data and optimize processes;

- Apply advanced scientific knowledge to projects;

- Determine priorities for experiments;

- Utilize numerous analytical instruments.
