QA Engineer

Due to the expansion of our Belarusian office, IT company Elementri (Linnovate's Belarusian R&D office) has opened the position of QA developer
We are putting together a team to work on an Israeli online media platform. Communication with the client and the Israeli team will be in English.

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of new functionalities before they go live on our group websites, viewed by thousands of users at any given moment. This is a pivotal role that combines hands-on testing with strategic QA planning. You will be involved in defining task requirements, planning test strategies, and ensuring timely and high-quality releases. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of automation testing solutions to support efficient and effective version releases.

Responsibilities:

• Define, plan, and execute software tests, including functional, UI, regression, integration, sanity, log-based, and more.

• Test across editor interfaces and the live newspaper website across browsers, devices, and applications.

• Collaborate as part of the automation testing team and contribute to automation development efforts.

• Analyze functional requirements and work with product managers to break down and plan the testing scope.

• Take part in task definition meetings and actively participate in quality release planning.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in QA planning and execution – mandatory

• Experience in GUI testing within a web environment, with an emphasis on UI and display – mandatory

• Experience in server-side, API, and database testing (Mongo, SQL) – mandatory

• Experience in information system analysis and functional requirements analysis – advantage

• Experience in planning, writing, and executing QA automation – advantage

• Highly organized and methodical, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Self-motivated, fast learner, and results-driven

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both written and spoken

• High-level English proficiency – written and spoken
