QA Automation/SDET Engineer

We are looking for a passionate QA Automation/SDET Engineer who can do more than just write tests, someone able to build a robust quality infrastructure from the ground up.
You will be part of a team where your opinion matters and where you can directly influence the quality and growth of our projects.

Location: Minsk
Format of work: full-time role with flexible start times and a hybrid setup (4 days in the office, 1 remote)

Responsibilities:

• build and evolve automated testing at all levels (unit, integration, e2e, API);
• develop and maintain test environments using Docker;
• automate database setup and management for testing needs;
• integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines;
• drive improvements in test infrastructure, tools, and utilities;
• monitor quality metrics and provide regular reporting;
• take part in discussions and decisions to continuously enhance product quality.

Requirements:

Hard Skills

• 3+ years of experience in API test automation (integration and e2e) with TypeScript;
• strong understanding of software testing theory;
• hands-on experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines;
• practical skills in working with databases (seeding, cleaning, integration with tests);
• solid experience with Docker;
• english level: B1 or higher (written).

Soft skills

• flexibility and adaptability in a fast-changing environment;

• systems thinking - ability to see beyond tasks and view testing as part of overall product development

• сlear communication (able to express ideas concisely, stay on point, and support proposals with well-reasoned arguments;

• self-management and the ability to work independently without constant supervision;

• openness to feedback and readiness to iterate;

• high attention to detail and a mindset for continuous improvement.

Nice to have:

• experience with Stripe or PayPal integrations;
• experience writing unit tests (Jest/Vitest) and integration tests (Supertest);
• knowledge of mock services, approaches, and libraries (e.g., mswjs.io);
• experience with UI test automation (Playwright);
• familiarity with monitoring quality metrics and setting up alerting.
